Warranty & Service Engineering Specialist

Location: Duluth, GA

About the role:

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Warranty & Service Engineering Specialist to join our team in Duluth, GA. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all aftermarket technical and warranty inquiries supporting WEG products and customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create warranty replacements orders and parts requests.
  • Manage warranty service orders and field service calendar.
  • Manage credit to customers and other areas.
  • Contract and issue purchase orders to service centers for a warranty field service work.
  • Schedule and coordinate warranty field service with the support of service supervisor or technical lead.
  • Issue factory claims for reimbursement of costs.
  • Create quality complaints for warranty failures.
  • Work with PPC and the Panel Shop, to effectively repair WEG supplied panels in warranty.
  • Manage optimal match warranty.
  • Manage warranty claim in WEG easy.
  • Email necessary documentation to customer to process their requests.
  • Evaluate warranty status on products.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED. Associate degree in electrical, electronic or equivalent preferred.

Knowledge / training:

  • Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel required.
  • SAP.
  • Product knowledge.

Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience.
