Role: Maintenance Technician Distribution Transformers - 2nd shift 

You will perform required electrical, mechanical maintenance, repair and construction operations on plant utility systems, equipment, buildings, and grounds:  

  • Diagnose and correct electrical, PLC and mechanical issues and repair;

  • Repair and install new electrical conduit runs, panel and junction boxes, switches, and controls. Make minor motor repairs, clean, replace bearings;

  • Install and connect hoists and cranes. Make minor repairs;

  • Connect machines, ovens, and welding machines;

  • Perform mechanical repair, maintenance and installation, including fabricating miscellaneous small parts by machine work, pipe fitting, welding all positions and oil tight; soldering;

  • Perform minor carpentry duties;

  • Operate shop machines as necessary to test or fabricate parts;

  • Move and relocate machinery; install attachments, accessories and guards;

 Basic Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years prior Industrial Maintenance experience ; 

  • College courses in Industrial Controls, PLC;

  • Attention to detail and ability to communicate with varying levels of employees; 

  • Resides within reasonable commuting distance of site; 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  •   Associate’s Degree in Industrial Engineering Technology/Industrial Maintenance;
