WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Manager, High/Medium Voltage National Sales to join our team. This role leads sales activities related to the High Voltage Automation business, including Drives, Softstarters, and other attached equipment as required. This position will be responsible for the definition and development of key markets, channels, and customers to grow the MV/HV Automation business to meet or exceed revenue and profit goals. This position leads a team of business developers and collaborates with product management to define the needs to grow in the identified target markets, and be a part of the team to determine the best manufacturing locations and strategies

Primary Responsibilities:

• Generate sales leads, develops sales channels, and makes technical presentations.
• Lead team of sales specialists to ensure that proposals, bids, and installations are handled in an effective and timely manner.
• Collaborate with and support HV Sales teams to promote and achieve specification for WEG MV Automation products.
• Collaboratively problem-solve to achieve successful project references and continue to strengthen WEG’s market reputation.
• Assure that sales and profit-related goals are met.
• Manage team of sales representatives, providing technical information in order to support the sales process.
• Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: (minimum education or equivalent in relevant experience) Bachelor’s degree Field of Study if required: Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge / training:

• Demonstrates breadth and depth of knowledge of customer needs and market trends, as well as knowledge of internal infrastructure and processes
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in document, mathematical, or diagram form
• People management
• Strategic management
• Ability to lead cross-cultural / cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Experience: (minimum years of related experience)

• 5-10+ years of relevant US based Customer/Industry experience.
• 5-10+ year of product and industry know-how related to MV/HV VFDs and System

• Travel as required in order to meet with team/customers as required.
